English + Football: Glasgow
Working in partnership with Glasgow Rangers Soccer Schools, Hamilton School of English offers a unique opportunity to combine high quality English tuition with professional football training from coaches attached to Rangers Football Club.
The two-week programme packs in a wealth of teaching and training, with those attending also enjoying the chance to take part in competitive football matches with local youth teams and to see some of the attractions of Scotland's largest and most vibrant city.
English plus Football Glasgow Course Details:
School Location
English tuition takes place each morning at Ibrox Stadium, home of Glasgow Rangers Football Club. The stadium houses a superbly-equipped study support centre, which also hosts various evening activities. Lunch and dinner are provided, with students overlooking the pitch at Ibrox while they eat. Football training takes place at the Rangers training ground close to Ibrox Stadium.

Accommodation
While students will spend much of their time at Ibrox Stadium, where they will enjoy lunch and dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation is provided at Glasgow University’s Garscube campus. Comprising single bedrooms with shared facilities, the campus offers a well-equipped and secure environment in the west of the city, just a few miles from Ibrox.

- 15 hours of group English language tuition per week
- Football training each day by professional coaches
- Competitive matches against local youth teams
- All timetabled activites and excursions, including entrance fees

A Typical Week
For much of the two-week programme, the timetable follows a structured pattern of English language tuition in the mornings before the focus switches firmly to football in the afternoons, with a range of training sessions lined up. Saturdays feature competitive matches with local youth teams. However, a number of excursions are also included - including a day trip to Edinburgh and a visit to the national football stadium at Hampden - as well as a range of evening activities. Getting to and from campus
All students joining the programme as part of a group will be transferred directly to their residential accommodation at the University of Glasgow's Garscube campus, with the return airport transfer also included. Individual students travelling to Glasgow independently can also be met on arrival in Scotland if required and transferred to the campus. The price for individual transfers can be provided on request.
Return transport is provided each day between the University of Glasgow's Garscube campus and Ibrox Stadium. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes.

Enrolment Process
To enquire about enrolling on a particular course please click on “Check Availabilty” and complete the simple form, by providing us with a few basic details.
We will review your enquiry and quickly let you know whether we can accept your enrolment. If places are available on the course requested these will be provisionally booked for you immediately. Our detailed enrolment form plus terms and conditions of booking will then be sent to you for completion and return. Once you return the completed enrolment form and pay the course deposit, a final booking confirmation will be issued. We would advise that flights should not be booked until a final booking confirmation is issued.
